Qie Hua Zi. Chrysanthemum form, sometimes hundred proliferate form. Flowers 16cm x 5cm, purple (68-A); petals 6-8-whorled, stiff, layered conspicuously, suffused with deep colour at the base; stamens normal, occasionally petaloid; pistils normal, stigmas purplish red; floral discs purplish red. Stalks straight. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, partially spreading. Branches stout. Leaves orbicular, large- sized; leaflets ovate, acute at the apex, suffused with purple on the margins. Growth vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1967.
