Shou Xing Hong. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 16cm x 6cm, purplish red (61-A), lustrous; petals 5-6-whorled, the apex shallowly toothed, suffused with dark purple at the base; stamens slightly petaloid; pistils numerous, small; floral discs deep purple. Stalks fairly long, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant medium height, partially spreading. Branches fairly stout. Leaves long, medium-sized, stiff, fairly crowded; leaflets ovate, acuminate at the apex, the margins curved upwards, suffused with deep purplish brown. Growth fairly vigorous, flowers many, leaves falling early. Bred by Zhaolou Peony Garden, Heze in 1967.
