Hong Yan Yan. Chrysanthemum form. Flowers 16cm x 5cm, purplish red (61-C); petals 6-8- whorled, obovate, purple basal blotches; stamens normal, occasionally petaloid, pistils normal, stigmas red; floral discs purplish red. Stalks stout, straight, flowers upright. Flowering midseason. Plant tall, erect. Branches stout. Leaves long, medium-sized; leaflets orbicular or lanceolate, acute at the apex, the margins curved upwards; terminal leaflets deeply cut, pilose beneath. Growing vigorous, flowers many. Bred by Jingshan Park, Beijing during 1970s. |
